Following his record-breaking fastest known time for completing The Ireland Way (1,038km) in June 2023, Jason now takes on his most ambitious challenge yet. Supported by a dedicated crew traveling across Australia in campervans, he will navigate the harsh terrain and unpredictable climate of the Australian outback, documenting his journey with daily social media updates and press appearances.
“This challenge is about pushing beyond limits, embracing the struggle and proving what’s possible with the right mindset and determination,” said Jason Williamson. “Australia’s vast landscape presents the ultimate test of body and mind, and I’m ready to take it on.”
The journey will be closely followed by fans, athletes and endurance sports enthusiasts worldwide. Six West Aviation, an avid and proud supporter of endurance events such as the Kerry Way Ultra, will sponsor Jason in his endeavour to complete the monumental challenge. Kleos Aero will support Jason and his crew with comprehensive planning and coordination of all logistical aspects of the 4,000km journey.
